Are your parts new or used?
All parts sold at BuyParts.Online are brand new unless otherwise clearly stated in the product description.
Who manufactures your parts?
We source from trusted OEM and aftermarket manufacturers. Specific brand information is listed on the product page when available.
Do your parts come with a warranty?
Most parts include a manufacturer warranty (typically 1 year).
BuyParts.Online does not provide additional warranties and does not cover:
- Labor costs
- Downtime
- Towing
- Progressive or secondary damage
For warranty claims, contact support with:
- Order number
- VIN

Why can't I find a part number on your site?
Even though we have millions of part numbers in our online store, we don't have them all. Feel free to start a chat to inquire about it. We have access to multiple vendors and may be able to help.
How do I know if a part fits my vehicle?
You are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchasing.
If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering with:
- VIN number
- Year, make, and model
- Engine size (if applicable)
Our team will help confirm fitment.
What if I order the wrong part?
If the part is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging, you may request a return within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Do you guarantee part compatibility?
We assist with compatibility verification, but final responsibility lies with the customer to confirm fitment before installation.
Do you cover labor costs?
No. We do not reimburse labor, towing, diagnostic fees, or downtime.
What happens if I install the part and it doesn’t work?
Installed parts are not eligible for return unless approved under warranty terms.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
What's the actual difference between OEM and aftermarket truck parts?
OEM means the part was made to the original manufacturer's specification, same material, same tolerances, same fit as what came on the truck from the factory.
Aftermarket means a third-party has made it to work as a direct replacement. For most applications, quality aftermarket parts perform just as well and cost less.
We carry both, and we label them clearly, so you know what you're getting
If a part number has been superseded, does the new number still fit my truck?
Yes, in the vast majority of cases. Superseded part numbers happen when a manufacturer updates the packaging, specification, or sourcing for a component, not necessarily the part itself. The new number is the current recommended replacement and is backward compatible with the original application.
On BuyParts.Online, if we list a part as superseded, the replacement has been confirmed compatible unless we say otherwise.
Are aftermarket parts interchangeable with OEM for commercial trucks?
For most standard replacement applications, yes, as long as the aftermarket part is built to the right spec. The difference isn't OEM vs aftermarket; it's quality of manufacturing and accuracy of the cross-reference. We only carry premium aftermarkets from established suppliers, not generic catalog parts.
If you're in a fleet warranty situation or have a standardization requirement, OEM is the safer call; we have that too.
Two parts look identical but have different numbers. Which one is right for my truck?
Part numbers exist because parts that look the same can have different specs, thread pitch, port size, pressure rating, internal tolerances. Two brake chambers or two valves can be ph ysically indistinguishable and still not be interchangeable.
Always use the correct OEM part number or a verified crossreference, not a visual match. Getting this wrong costs more than the part.

I can't find my part number on BuyParts.Online. What should I do?
Try the cross-reference number first; the same part often lives under multiple OEM and aftermarket numbers. If that doesn't work, search by description or category. It's also worth checking if the part has been superseded; the number you have may have been replaced by a newer one.
If you're still stuck, reach out with your part number, VIN, and what system it belongs to, and we'll track it down.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, along with other secure payment options available at checkout.

Contact & Support
How can I contact customer support?
Email: support@buyparts.online
Please include your order number for faster assistance.
How is BuyParts.Online different from a general auto parts retailer?
Most auto parts platforms are built for passenger vehicles and treat commercial trucks as a secondary category. BuyParts.Online is built specifically for the heavy-duty market.
That means deeper catalog coverage for commercial applications, fitment data that accounts for engine family, axle configuration, and build spec. not just year, make, and model, and a support team that understands how trucks are actually spec'd and serviced. We also offer fleet pricing, credit lines, and bulk ordering tools that general retailers don't.
And while heavy-duty trucking is our flagship, our parts intelligence platform is built to grow, we are expanding into automotive, agricultural, construction, and marine parts to serve the broader industrial market.
How long has BuyParts.Online been in business?
BuyParts.Online has been operating since 2019.
Over the past five years, we've built our catalog, data infrastructure, and support operations around the specific needs of commercial trucking, fleet managers, owner-operators, repair shops, and diesel technicians who need the right part quickly and accurately.
We're not a general marketplace that added truck parts. This is what we do.
Billing & Orders
Why was my order canceled?
Orders may be canceled due to:
- Payment verification issues
- Inventory availability
- Billing discrepancies
If your order was canceled, you will be notified via email.
Can I modify my order after placing it?
Changes may be possible before processing begins. Contact us immediately if adjustments are needed.
Does BuyParts.Online offer pricing for fleets and repair shops that order regularly?
Yes. The platform is set up for commercial buyers, not one-off retail orders. Fleet managers and repair shops can apply for a credit line and access wholesale pricing.
If you're ordering in volume or need account terms, get in touch or go through the credit line application, and we'll work out what makes sense for your operation.
Can I place a bulk or multi-line order for a fleet?
Yes. You can submit multiple part numbers at once, useful for fleet maintenance orders or shop restocking.
You can access it directly from the site. If you need help structuring a large order or want to discuss volume pricing, contact our support team directly.
Compatibility
Why does my truck show different compatible parts for the same model year?
Commercial trucks built in the same year can have completely different specs depending on the engine, transmission, axle configuration, and cab type. A 2019 Freightliner Cascadia with a DD13 needs different parts than one with a DD15, even for the same system. Year/make/model is a starting point, not the whole picture.
If you're ordering a part where fitment is critical, use your VIN or engine serial number to confirm before you buy.
Why do some parts require VIN verification before ordering?
The VIN encodes the exact build spec of the truck, engine family, transmission type, axle ratio, and build date. For parts where those details affect fitment (brake components, suspension, drivetrain), VIN verification is the only reliable way to confirm you're getting the right part.
It's not extra friction; it's how you avoid ordering something that looks right but isn't.
What's the fastest way to identify a part for a commercial truck?
In order: the OEM part number from the truck's service manual or the part you're replacing, the full 17-digit VIN, the engine serial number if it's an engine related component, and the specific system (brakes, suspension, drivetrain,etc.). If you have a cross-reference number from a previous supplier, that works too.
The more of these you have, the faster and more accurate the match.
Do you support all-make parts searches, or only brand-specific?
Both. Many components, filters, belts, lighting, electrical connectors, and other maintenance items are available as all-makes parts that fit multiple truck brands. Where a part is brand or model-specific, we list it that way.
You can search by brand, by system, or by part number, regardless of brand origin.
